Nepal, In The Mountain's Shadow
In The Mountain's Shadow is an Alexo Films production which, is represented by independent filmmaker and Canadian, Maria Alexopoulos. Maria, has worked in both film and television, for nearly a decade; practicing in areas such as, production, directing, writing and cinematography. Throughout her career she has worked with media giants, such as, BBC Films/Kudos Films, Chum television and the famed, National Film Board of Canada. Maria has filmed in a myriad of locations including; Nepal, United Kingdom and her homeland, Canada.
Presently, she resides in the UK-where she is developing her technical skills, working with advanced digital and 35mm formats. Allowing the visions of today, become the change of tomorrow-Maria's filmmaking surrounds deep human issues. Her mission is to grow by learning and to live through sharing, by attempting to make a small difference one story at a time.
